JET-LUBE J-75 Drill Steel Lubricant is an environmentally preferred, lead free compound specifically designed for percussion drilling. This formulation is highly fortified to provide excellent resistance to shock, galling and seizing. These anti-friction properties are unsurpassed while providing easy thread assembly and disassembly.
Under makeup pressure both J-75 literally "plates" and forms a tenacious armored coating that eliminates metal-to-metal contact while penetrating voids, surface imperfections and score marks to increase thread life on steel bits, joints and couplings.

ApplicationsRecommended for percussion rock drilling, blast hole drilling, road construction, logging, mining, coal drilling, pneumatic and tract drilling. J-75 (brushable) provides positive protection to 260°C (500°F) and will not run out or metal out of hot threads. The superior antifriction properties of both products reduce thread wear and lengthen steel and coupling life. |
