JET-LUBE CABLELUBE drastically reduces friction between the strands of wire rope and cables. High-tech additives reduce metal to metal contact and allow the components to roll off each other rather than rub together. This reduction in friction reduces micro-pitting and micro-fissions, thus reducing stress and fatigue fractures from forming in the wire line. The result is longer cable life, less downtime, less cost and more production.

Wire Rope & Chain Lubricant

Description
CABLELUBE can withstand extreme pressure. The base ingredient has inherent extreme pressure and rust preventative properties. It is also formulated using inorganic additives, giving it extreme pressure qualities. The additives leave a protective coating on the wire strands that will protect it under extreme loads.
|
Applications
CABLELUBE is a polar substance, causing it to be attracted to metals and to hold it in place. When it is being applied it will flow freely and penetrate into the core of the wire line. After the product is applied it will set and become thicker, which helps it to "stay put". When wire ropes undergo movement, vibration and manipulation the CABLELUBE will not drip or sling off and is able to maintain its full protection of the wire rope.
